Common questions.

How are commissions calculated?
Commission is your tier rate applied to the net payment amount (after payment gateway fees, typically 1.5–2.5%) of every active paying referral, every month they stay subscribed. So a Builder-tier affiliate (13%) with a referral paying ₹1,999/month earns roughly ₹254 from that single referral, every month, automatically.
When and how do I get paid?
On the 7th of every month, we process the previous month's earnings. Payouts go via UPI for amounts under ₹50K, or direct bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS) above that. Minimum payout threshold is ₹500 — anything below rolls to the next month.
How long does my referral cookie last?
30 days on Starter, 90 days on Builder, 120 days on Partner, and a lifetime attribution window on Elite. So if a user clicks your link on Monday and signs up for adris.tech two weeks later, you still get credit (and ongoing commission).
What happens when a referred user cancels their plan?
Commissions stop the month they cancel — but you keep everything earned before. They also stop counting toward your active referral total, which could move you down a tier the next month. You can downgrade tiers, but you'll go right back up the moment your active count crosses the threshold again.
Do free plan users count toward my referral count?
No. Only users on a paid plan (Solo, Builder or Pro) count toward your active referral total. Free Explore-tier users are tracked in your dashboard so you can see total reach, but they don't generate commission until they upgrade.
Is there a minimum audience size to apply?
No minimum. We've approved affiliates with as few as 200 newsletter subscribers — what matters is fit, not size. If your audience overlaps with Indian developers, creators or small businesses building with AI, we want to talk.
Can I use adris.tech myself and refer it?
Yes — we encourage it. Most of our best affiliates are paying users themselves. You cannot self-refer (signing up via your own link doesn't count), but you can absolutely talk about your own usage when promoting.
How do I track my referrals and earnings?
You get a real-time dashboard at adris.tech/affiliate/dashboard showing every click, signup, upgrade, and commission accrued. Filter by date, source URL, or referral status. Export as CSV anytime for your accounting.
